RESOLUTION NO.2971
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON,KASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE PLANNING/BUILDING/PUBLIC KORKS
ADMINISTRATOR TO APPOINT A REPRESENTATIVE AND
ALTERNATE TO SERVE ON THE METROPOLITAN KATER
POLLUTION ABATEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS,RCW 35.56.210 provides for each metropolitan municipal
corporation authorized to perform water pollution abatement to
establish a Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory
Committee to be composed of representatives of each component city
and county within such metropolitan municipal corporation;and
WHEREAS,the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle (Metro)has
established such a water pollution abatement advisory committee;and
WHEREAS,the City Council finds it to be in the interest of the
City of Renton to be represented on said Metropolitan Water
Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee;
HOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON,DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
and correct.
SECTION II.
The above recitals are hereby found to be true
The Planning/Building/Public Works Administrator
or his/her designee is hereby authorized to appoint a representative
and alternate from the City of Renton to the Metropolitan Water
Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee.
SECTION III.A conformed copy of this resolution shall be
forwarded to the Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory
Committee in care of Ernst Anton,Metro,MIS 82,Seattle,Washington
98104.
