RESOLUTION NO. 2697
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, RE EXPENDITURES
OF BUSINESS LICENSE SURCHARGES
WHEREAS the City Council has imposed a surcharge on business
license fees, and
WHEREAS the City Council premised the imposition of that fee
upon the need of the City for funds to do certain road improvements,
and
WHEREAS it would be advisable to formalize the Council's
intention to expend this surcharge on such road improvements, NOW
THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The above recitals are true and correct in all
respects.
SECTION II; The business license fee surcharge shall be
expended only on road improvements listed in the City's Capital
Improvement Program until further resolution of this Council.
