VHEREAS the City of Renton,a municipal corporation of the sec<>n<l class.under
the laws and statutes of the State of Washington,has heretofore made a certain
project application (for federal aid for development of airport)unto the Federal
Aviation Administration which said Application is dated October 10,1967,and
WHEREAS the Department of Transportation,Federal Aviation Administration,
has dUly notified the City of the acceptance and approval of said project and its
IIGrant Agreement"having been submitted to the City of Renton for its acceptance
and approval,and the Renton Aviation Board having dUly recommended to the City
Council of the City of Renton to accept said Grant Agreement as hereinafter set
forth,Nal THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COU!\CIL OF THE CI'IY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON,AS FOLLaNS:
SEcnON I:The abeve reeital and facts are hereby found to be true and eorreet
in all respeets.The City of Renton,in eonjunetion with and upon the recommendation
of the Renton Aviation Board hereby aeeepts and approves that eertain "Grant Agreement"
dated January 12,1968,which said Grant Offer is attached to this Resolution in fUll,
labeled Exhibit itA".and made til part hereof and incorporated herein as if fully set
forth.
SECTION II:The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Renten are hereby
authorized and directed to sign and execute the acceptance of said Grant Offer and
to affix the corporate seal therebn and to take such other or further action as may
be necessary or required for the acceptance of said Grant Offer by the Federal Aviation
Administration.
