CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2794
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING
FROM THE COMMUNITY ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION BOARD (CERB) .
WHEREAS, the state of Washington has established the Community
Economic Revitalization Board (CERB) to improve the economic
vitality of the state; and
WHEREAS, PACCAR has proposed to construct a state of the art
Kenworth truck assembly plant in the city of Renton; and
WHEREAS, the construction of that facility may make the city
eligible for a CERB Grant; and
WHEREAS, such grant would be in the interests of the citizens
of the city of Renton.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor of the City of Renton, Washington, is
hereby authorized to sign the Application for Funding for a
Community Economic Revitalization Board Grant.

1990 .
