RESOLUTION NO. 3326
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BURNETT AVENUE
NORTH BETWEEN N. 5TH STREET AND N. 6TH STREET FOR
UTILITY REPLACEMENT AND ROAD RESTORATION.
WHEREAS, the construction of the new Bryn Mawr sanitary
sewer extension requires location of a 14' vault into a portion
of Burnett Avenue North for connection to the existing eastside
interceptor; and
WHEREAS, this construction activity will require a street
closure for a portion of Burnett Avenue North between N. 5th
Street and N. 6th Street for a period not to exceed eight weeks;
and
WHEREAS, this street work has been scheduled between April
and July of 1998; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code Section 9-9-3 the City
Council is to authorize such closures by means of a Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The City Council does hereby authorize the
closure of Burnett Avenue North between N. 5th Street and N. 6th
Street for a period of approximately eight (8) weeks during the

period between April and July of 1998 or some equivalent time
frame.
