RESOLUTION NO. 3344
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF WASHINGTON
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT BOARD FOR FUNDING OF THE
PEDESTRIAN FACILITIES PROGRAM, NORTH 30TH STREET AND
PARK AVENUE SIDEWALK PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has applied to the State of Washington Transportation
Improvement Board for a grant to design and construct the North 30th Street and Park Avenue
Sidewalk Project; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Improvement Board has certain UATA/TIA funds
available to it; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Improvement Board wishes to make those funds
available to the City upon certain terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, those terms and conditions are contained within an agreement between the
City and the Transportation Improvement Board;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION H. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a project
agreement with the State of Washington Transportation Improvement Board for the design and
construction of the North 30th Street and Park Avenue North Sidewalk Project located between I-
405/Burnett Avenue to North 28th Street/North 38th Street.
