RESOLUTION NO. 3354
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE EXTENDED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF
BURNETT AVENUE NORTH BETWEEN N. 5TH STREET AND N. 6TH
STREET FOR UTILITY REPLACEMENT AND ROAD RESTORATION.
WHEREAS, the construction of the new Bryn Mawr sanitary sewer extension requires
location of a 14' vault into a portion of Burnett Avenue North for connection to the existing
eastside interceptor; and
WHEREAS, this construction activity will require a street closure for a portion of
Burnett Avenue North between N. 5th Street and N. 6th Street exceeding the original approved
period of eight weeks; and
WHEREAS, this street work has been scheduled to be completed no later than December
1, 1998; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code section 9-9-3 the City Council is to authorize such
closures by means of a Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION H. The City Council does hereby authorize the extended closure of Burnett
Avenue North between N. 5th Street and N. 6th Street until December 1, 1998.
