RESOLUTION NO. 3241
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING . THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE KING COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE RENTON
CBD :TEMPORARY TRANSIT FACILITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton and the King County Department of
.Transportation desire to construct a temporary transit facility in
the central business district of Renton; and
WHEREAS, the City has asked the County to reimburse the City
for certain expenditures; and
WHEREAS, the County has agreed to provide the City up to
$156, 000 . 00 in reimbursement; and
WHEREAS, it necessary to document the terms and conditions
under which the construction will be done and how it will be
managed;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Renton,
Washington, are hereby authorized to sign the interlocal agreement
entitled "Contract Between King County Department of Transportation

and the City of Renton for Design and Construction of the Renton
CBD Temporary Transit Facility."
