RESOLUTION NO. 3261
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE _ AGREEMENT WITH OTHER EAST KING
COUNTY- WATER UTILITY PROVIDERS AND TO EXECUTE THE EAST
' KING.'COUNTY COORDINATED _WATER SYSTEM PLAN, WATER UTILITY
SERVICE AREA BOUNDARY AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has previously been a participant
in the East King County Coordinated Water System Plan, Water
Utility Service Area Boundary Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it wishes to continue its participation therein; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable to establish a method of resolving
water service area disputesand transfers of territory; and
_WHEREAS, the City of Renton has been operating under this
agreement for several years and wishes to continue its
involvement;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement
with the other East King County water utility providers and to
execute the East King County Coordinated Water System Plan, Water
Utility Service Area Boundary Agreement .
