RESOLUTION NO. 3293
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
. AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS WITH THE
-TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT BOARD FOR THE DESIGN AND
CONSTRUCTION OF THE BENSON ROAD PEDESTRIAN FACILITY FROM
-. .SOUTE' 26TH STREET TO SOUTH 27TH STREET.
WHEREAS, .the City of .Renton is planning to construct certain
pedestrian facilities on Benson Road from South 26th Street to
South 27th Street; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Improvement Board is offering the
City financial .assistance for the design and construction of such
facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document the terms and conditions
. under which the City will receive those funds; and
WHEREAS, the City has been tendered an agreement entitled
"Project Agreement for Design and Construction Proposal, Benson
Road Pedestrian Facility, South 26th Street to South 27th Street" ;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHING TON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor or his designee and the City Clerk
are hereby authorized to enter into an interlocal agreement with
the Transportation Improvement Board entitled "Project Agreement
for Design and Construction Proposal, Benson Road Pedestrian

further agreements or amendments necessary to accomplish this
project .
