RESOLUTION NO. 3297
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF

WASHINGTON FOR EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT UPGRADE FEES.
WHEREAS, the state of Washington, through the Office of •
the Administrator for the Courts, has established requirements
for replacement equipment in the courts; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Administrator for the Courts
will provide equipment upgrades upon request and agreement by
the court and the City to pay the upgrade fee based upon the
equipment .upgrade requested; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton operates a municipal court;
and
WHEREAS, it is nedessary to provide upgrades to nine
personal computers operated by the Renton Municipal Court; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Administrator for the Courts
will agree to upgrade those computers for the total sum of
$1, 116 . 00; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document the terms and
conditions upon which this upgrade will be done for the agreed
upon price;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to enter into an interlocal cooperative agreement
with the state of Washington between the Office of the
Administrator for the Courts and the City of Renton to provide
equipment replacement for an agreed upon fee.

1997 .
