RESOLUTION NO. 3190
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORLZING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF S.W. SEVENTH STREET
SOUTH OF . RAINIER AVENUE S. FOR UTILITY REPLACEMENT AND
ROAD RESTORATION.
_WHEREAS, the. construction of the new Renton Center Fred Meyer
requires relocation of a 12" water main into a portion S .W. Seventh
Street; and
WHEREAS, this construction activity will require a street
closure for a portion of S .W. Seventh Street south of Rainier
_Avenue S . for a period of one week; and
WHEREAS, this street work has been scheduled between May and
September of 1996 ; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code Section 9-9-3 the City Council
is to authorize such closures by means of a Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The City Council does hereby authorize the
closure of S .W. Seventh Street south of Rainier Avenue S . for a
period of approximately one (1) week during the period between May
and September of 1996 or some equivalent time frame .
