RESOLUTION NO. 3199
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE _ AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON
STATE 'DEPARTMENT .OF. TRANSPORTATION FOR OVERLAY WORK AS
PART:OF THE HOUSER WAY PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton is presently constructing the
Houser Way project within the City of Renton; and
WHEREAS, the State of Washington Department of Transportation
wishes to include a specific item of work in the City' s
construction contract; and
WHEREAS; ' by agreement the state will pay for the cost of the
work it wishesto add to the construction project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document the terms and conditions
under which the City will perform this extra work for the state of
Washington;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement numbered GCA 0308
entitled "State Participating Agreement - Work by Local Agency

Actual Cost" for overlay of certain areas as part of the Houser Way
construction project .
