ORDINANCE NO.3443ANORDINANCEOFTHECITYOFRENTON,WASHINGTON,VACATING
A PORTION OF ALLEY BETWEEN BURNETT AVE.N.&PARK AVE.N.
BETWEEN N.30TH ST.AND N.29TH ST.(VAC-l-30)CASPERWHEREASaproperpetitionforvacatingaportionofalleybetweenBurnettAve.N.&Park Ave.N.between N.30th St.and N.29thSt.,Renton,King County,Washington,was duly filed with the CityClerkonoraboutMarch24,1980,and said petition having been signedbyownersrepresentingmorethantwo-thirds of the property abuttinguponsuchalleysoughttobevacated;and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No.2327 passed andapprovedonApril14,1980,and after due investigation,did fix anddeterminethe19thdayofMay,1980,at the hour of 8:00 P.M.intheCityCouncilChambersoftheCityofRentontobethetimeandplaceforapublichearingthereon,said hearing being continued toJune2,1980,and the City Clerk having given due notice of suchhearinginthemannerprovidedbylaw,and all persons having beenheardappearinginfavororinoppositionthereto;andWHEREAStheDepartmentofPublicWorksandthe PlanningDepartmentoftheCityofRentonhavingdulyconsideredsaidpetitionforsaidvacation,and having found same to be in the public interestandforthepublicbenefit,and no injury or damage to any person orpropertieswillresultfromsuchvacation;
NOW THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:The following described portion of alley,to-wit:
See Exhibit “A”attached hereto and made a part hereof
as if fully set forth herein
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED with no fee paid unto the City 5yPetitioner-Owners.
SECTION II:This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage,approval and five days after its publication.
A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the
Office of Director of Records and Elections,King County,and as
otherwise provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 7th day of July ,1980.

All that portion of an alleyway,having a width of 12 feet,lying be
tween Lots 1 through 22 inclusive on the north and Lots 29 through 50
inclusive on the south,within Block 13 of CD.Hillman’s Lake Washing
ton Garden of Eden Division No.1,as recorded in Volume 11 of Plats,
page 63 records of King County Washington;and lying easterly of the
easterly tight-of-way line of Burnett Ave.N.,extended and westerly
of the southerly extension of the west line of Lot 23 from the SW corner
of Lot 23 to the NW corner of Lot 28 of Block 13,of said plat.
As situated within the SW 1/4 Section 32,Township 24,Range 5 E..,W.M.
