ORDINANCE NO.3203
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON
VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY WITHIN BLOCK 18,
C.D.HILLMAN'S LAKE WASHINGTON GARDEN OF EDEN,
DIV.NO.1 (KENNYDALE AREA)
WHEREAS the City Council authorized the vacation of an
alley in the vicinity of Block 18,C.D.Hillman's Lake Washington
Garden of Eden,Div.#1,lying easterly of Burnett Avenue N.,Kennydale
majority
area,Renton,King County,Washington,and a /of the abutting property
owners have agreed to and joined in the vacation action;and
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No.2163 passed
and approved on February 6,1978 and after due investigation,did
fix and determine the 27th day of February,1978 at the hour of
8:00 P.M.in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to
be the time and place for a public hearing thereon,and the City
Clerk having given due notice of such hearing in the manner provided
by law,and all persons having been heard appearing in favor Or
ln opposition thereto;and
WHEREAS the Department of Public Works and the Planning
Department of the City of Renton having duly considered said petition
for said vacation,and having found same to be in the pu~lic interest
and for the public benefit,and no injury or damage to any person
or properties will result from such v~cation;
NOW THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHIN ON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:The following described alley to-wit:
An alleyway,having a width of 12 feet,running in an
east-west direction through Block 18,C.D.Hillman's
Lake Washington Garden of Eden Division No.1,as
recorded in Volume 11 of plats,page 63,records of
King County,Washington;lying southerly of lots 1
through 25 on the north and northerly of lots 26 through
50 on the south;and also lying easterly of the easterly
Right-of-way line of Burnett Ave.N.,extended and

westerly of the westerly Right-of-Way line of Park
Avenue N.extended;
Situated within the SW 1/4 of Section 32,Township
24 North,Range 5 E.,W.M.
BE AND SAME IS HEREBY VACATED
A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with
its passage,approval and five days after its pUblication.
This Ordinance shall be effective uponSECTIONII:
the Office of Records and Elections,King County,and as otherwise
provided by lal'1.
