RESOLUTION NO. 3211
A RESOLUTION OF THE . CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL..AGREEMENT WITH KING COUNTY WATER DISTRICT NO.
90 TO PROVIDE WATER SERVICE TO THE CITY OF RENTON ON AN
EMERGENCY ONLY BASIS WHILE THE HIGHLANDS ELEVATED
RESERVOIR..IS OUT OF SERVICE FOR MAINTENANCE PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Renton' s
Highlands Elevated Reservoir will be out of service for maintenance
purposes during the months of June and July of 1996 ; and
WHEREAS, King County Water District No. 90 is able to provide
:. waterduring this period to the City of Renton on an emergency only
basis, when to do so is. not .detrimental to Water District No. 90' s
customers; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document the agreement between the
parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with King County Water
District No. 90 to provide water service to the City of Renton on an
emergency only basis during the months of June and July, 1996 while

maintenance purposes .
