RESOLUTION NO. 3216
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF S.W. TWELFTH STREET
BETWEEN LIND AVENUE S.W. AND MAPLE AVENUE S.W. FOR
UTILITY REPLACEMENT AND ROAD RESTORATION.
WHEREAS, the construction of the new Good Chevrolet Auto
Dealership requires relocation of an 8" water main under S .W.
Twelfth Street; and
WHEREAS, this construction activity will require a street
closure for a portion of S .W. Twelfth Street between Lind Avenue
S .W. and Maple. Avenue S .W. for a period of approximately six weeks;
and
WHEREAS, this street work has been scheduled between July and
September of 1996 ; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code Section 9-9-3 the City Council
is to authorize such closures by means of a Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION I . The abo e recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The City Council does hereby authorize the
closure of S .W. Twelfth Street between Lind Avenue S .W. and Maple
Avenue S .W. for an interval of approximately six weeks during the

period between July and September of 1996 or some equivalent time
frame .
