RESOLUTION NO. 3220
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT ENTITLED "TRANSIT SERVICE AGREEMENT
BY. AND BETWEEN KING COUNTY AND THE CITY OF RENTON FOR THE
RENTON SHUTTLE."
WHEREAS, the City of Renton desires to institute a transit
service to be known as the Renton Transit Shuttle Program; and
WHEREAS, King County is in the business of providing such
transit services through its Metro division; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has determined that it would be in
the best interests of all parties for the City of Renton to
contract with King County Metro to provide the Renton Transit
Shuttle services; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document the terms and conditions
of the agreement under which King County Metro will provide the
Renton Transit Shuttle Program services to the City of Renton;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Renton,
Washington, do resolve as follows :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an interlocal cooperative agreement entitled "Transit
RESOLUTION NO. 3220
Service Agreement By and Between King County and the City of Renton
for the Renton Transit Shuttle Program.
