Add ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RMON, ON, WASHINGTON, ANNEXING
CERTAIN TERRITMY TO THE CITY OF REWT .
WHEREAS under the provisions of R.C.W. 35.13.130, as amended by Chapter 252,
Session Love of 1961, a petition in writing requesting that certain territory contiguous
to the City of Renton. as hereinafter more particularly described, be annexed to the
City of Renton, was duly presented and filed with the City Clark on or about March 9,
1963; and
WRERFAS prior to the filing and circulation of said petition for anner>rotion,
the petitioning owner had duly notified the City Council of his intention to commence
such proceedings as provided by low and upon hearing it having been determined and
the petitioning owner having so agreed to assume the pre-exiating bonded indebtedness
of the City of Renton as same pertains to than territory petitioned to be annexed, and
WHIMEAS the City Engineer has duly examined and verified the signature thereon
and determined the assessed valuation of all the properties, the same being in excess of
75% of the area ao petitioning in value as provided by law, which petition also seas
forth the legal description of the property according to governmental legal subdivision
or plat, and the Planning Commission of the City of Renton hawing duly considered and
reeacmmanded the onnioxing of said property to the City; and
WHOREAS a hoard of Review was duly 0411*4 but its ptofteftWs dispenaeed with
as provided by law, aced
WHEREAS the City Council of this City of Renton fixed April 15, 1963 at the
City Council Chambers in the City Hall as the time and place: for public bearing upon
said petition, notice tiaareot having been given as prov'ideed by law; and
WHEREAS pursuant to aueh notice, a public hearing Inas been hee 1 d by the City
Council st the tiaaa sud prlace spe4ifLad fete the Of'orsssIA notice, and the Council having
duly considered all matters in connection with said petition .,and further determined
that all legal reequirsmsnts and procedures of the law had been complied with, NOW
THEREFORE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR ANIS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,, AS
VOLLOWS t

anvexation- to the City of Renton of the property and territory hereinbelow described be
and the Sams- is hereby sppre+ved and granted; the following described property toeing

contiguous to the City Limits of the City of Renton, State of Washington, be and the
same is 'hereby annexed to the City of Renton Oud such annexation to be effectiva on
and after the approval, passage and publication of this Ordinance, and on and after
said date said territory shall constitute a part of the City of Renton and shell be
subject to all its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in force; said property
being described as followa=
That portion of the Southeast one-quarter of the Northwest one-quarter
of Section 18, Township 23 North, Range 5 Bast, W.M. described as follows;
Beg,innLng at the intersection of northerly margin of Renton Avenue
( 5.8 . Goodwin Road No. 1446) with the northerly predu+etton of the
westerly margin of 84tb Avenue South; thence southumxastarly along said
westerly margin and said line produced northerly to the soutbarly
margin of South 133rd Street; tbence easterly along the southerly
margin of South 133rd Street and said lire produced easterly to the
east margin of 91st Avenues South; thence nortlaarly along the easterly
margin of 91st Avenue South to the easterly prodUction of the northerly
margin of Rentout Avenue (B.S. 0oodwin Read No. 1446); thence westerly
along said northerly margin of Renton Avenue to the northerly production
of the westerly margin of 89th Avenue South and the point of beginning.
All situated in County of King, State of Washington.
SFCTI(W II: The abovedascribed annexed property contiguous to Precinct
No. �� of the City of Renton shall be and constitute a part of Precinct No.
of said City.
SECTION IIT: This Ordinance shall be in flail force and effect from and after
Its passage, approval and publication as provided by law. A certified copy of this
Ordinance shall be filed with eche Board of County Comissioners of King County, 'State
of Washington, and as otherwise provided by Lara.
