RESOLUTION NO. 3106
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
"AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL':COOPERATIVE 'AGREEMENT WITH KING COUNTY WATER
DISTRICT NO.- 90.
WHEREAS, the City Council has recently authorized the
annexation of -the. plat . of Stonegate into the City of Renton; and
WHEREAS, King County Water District No. 90 is the normal
service provider for potable water for that plat; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has potable water lines more
geographically adjacent to the plat than does King County Water
District No. 90; and
WHEREAS, King County, Water District No., 90 has current plans
to extend its potable water to that plat, in the near future; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton wishes to provide potable water to
the plat until King County Water District No. 90 can provide its
services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton and King County Water District No.
90 wish to document their agreement concerning satisfaction of the
water connection charges payable by the plat; and
WHEREAS, the City and King County Water District No. 90 have
negotiated an interlocal agreement to satisfy these needs;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .

SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with King County
Water District No. 90 concerning the provisions of temporary
potable water service to the plat of Stonegate, satisfaction of
connection charges, and provision for the transfer of water service
from the City to King County Water District No. 90 .
