RESOLUTION NO. 3110
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT BOARD FOR GRANT FUNDS FOR
ROADWORK ON N.E. 3RD STREET FROM SUNSET BOULEVARD TO
MONTEREY DRIVE N.E.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has determined that it is
necessary to perform certain street work on N.E. 3rd Street
between Sunset Boulevard and Monterey Drive N.E . ; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Improvement Board has decided to
provide a grant to the City of Renton for this. work in the amount
of $424, 400 . 00; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document the terms and conditions
of that grant; and
WHEREAS, receipt of the grant would be advantageous to the
citizens of the City of Renton
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the
Transportation Improvement Board for grant funding for
construction of N.E. 3rd Street between Sunset Boulevard and
Monterey Drive N.E.
