RESOLUTION NO. 3118
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HARDIE AVENUE S.W.
SOUTH OF S.W. 5TH PLACE FOR UTILITY REPLACEMENT AND ROAD
RESTORATION.
WHEREAS, the construction of the new Renton Center Fred Meyer
requires relocation of a 12" water main into a portion of Hardie
Avenue S.W. ; and
WHEREAS, this construction activity will require a street
closure for a portion of Hardie Avenue S.W. south of S.W. 5th Place
for a period of three weeks; and
WHEREAS, this street work has been scheduled for April 1995;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code Section 9-9-3 the City Council
is to authorize such closures by means of a Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The City Council does hereby authorize the
closure of Hardie Avenue S .W. south of S.W. 5th Place for a period
of approximately three ( 3 ) weeks during April 1995 or some
equivalent time frame.
