RESOLUTION NO. 3128
A ' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT ENTITLED "PUBLIC WORKS
TRUST FUND CONSTRUCTION LOAN AGREEMENT" FOR INSTALLATION
OF THE N.E. 27TH/ABERDEEN AVENUE N.E. DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, no City storm drainage system exists in the area of
N.E. 24th Street and Aberdeen Avenue N.E. which is a closed
depression that experiences flooding during moderate and heavy
rainfall; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton intends to install a stormwater
drainage system in this area; and
WHEREAS,. the Public Works Trust Fund has agreed to make a
construction loan to the City of Renton; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document that loan by means of an
agreement entitled "Public Works Trust Fund Construction Loan
Agreement" ; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the citizens of the City of
Renton to enter into said loan agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign the agreement entitled "Public Works Trust Fund
Construction Loan Agreement Number PW-5-95-791-032 . "
