RESOLUTION NO. 3131
rA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
WASHINGTON ENTITLED "WWRP PROJECT AGREEMENT, HABITAT
`-CONSERVATION ACCOUNT, BLACK RIVER RIPARIAN FOREST. "
WHEREAS the City of Renton wishes to continue its acquisition
of property within the area known as Black River Riparian Forest;
and
WHEREAS, the state of Washington, through the Habitat
Conservation Account, wishes to provide funding to the City of
Renton for that acquisition; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has available to it the necessary
matching funds to qualify for this funding;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an interlocal cooperative agreement with the state of
Washington entitled "WWRP Project Agreement, Habitat Conservation
Account, Black River Riparian Forest. "
SECTION III. The Mayor and City Clerk are further authorized
to sign all other additional papers and agreements necessary to
qualify for these funds and perform duties under the contract and to
.sign additional agreements necessary to acquire the remaining Black
River Riparian Forest properties .
