RESOLUTION NO. 3134
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE TRANSPORTATION
IMPROVEMENT BOARD ENTITLED "PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR
` CONSTRUCTION PROPOSAL, TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT ACCOUNT
(TIA) RE: SR 900 HOV & NB HOUSER INTERCHANGE. "
WHEREAS, the City of Renton wishes to make certain improvements
described as SR 900 High Occupancy Vehicle and Northbound Houser
Interchange; and
WHEREAS, the state of Washington, through the Transportation
Improvement Account, wishes to allocate funds to that project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish the details of the
agreement whereby the Transportation Improvement Board allocates
t .ose funds to the City, which agreement is set forth in a document
entitled "Project Agreement for Construction Proposal, SR 900 HOV &
NB Houser Interchange" ; and
WHEREAS, it is advantageous to citizens of the City of Renton
to sign such agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into a Project Agreement for Construction Proposal,
Transportation Improvement Account (TIA) with the Transportation
Improvement Board for a Project Title & Description SR 900 HOV & NB
Houser Interchange.
