RESOLUTION NO. 3137
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A
PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR DESIGN PROPOSAL WITH THE WASHINGTON
'STATE , TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT BOARD (MAIN AVENUE
:SOUTH-SOUTH 5TH STREET TO BRONSON WAY NORTH IMPROVEMENT
-PROJECT) .
WHEREAS, the City of Renton is proposing to perform certain
work on Main Avenue South - South 5th Street to Bronson Way; and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Improvement Board has funds
. .available in the Urban Arterial Trust Account to assist the City in
that effort; and
WHEREAS, the City has made a proposal to the Transportation
Improvement Board. for funds from the Urban Arterial Trust Account;
and
WHEREAS, the Transportation Improvement Board wishes to make
those funds available;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into a Project Agreement for Design Proposal with the
Transportation Improvement Board for funds from the Urban Arterial
Trust Account for the improvement project on Main Avenue South -
South 5th Street to Bronson Way North.
