RESOLUTION NO. 3031
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DECLARING
CERTAIN PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE PARRS
DEPARTMENT TO DISPOSE OF THAT PROPERTY (NARCO) .
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has recently acquired certain real
estate known as the NARCO site; and
WHEREAS, the NARCO site has on it several buildings that are
no longer functional and for which the City has no use; and
WHEREAS, those buildings have salvage value; and
WHEREAS, the salvage value of the buildings is less than
$5, 000 . 00;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are found. to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The salvageable materials contained within the
buildings on the NARCO site are hereby declared surplus, and the
Parks Department is directed to sell the salvageable materials on
the most advantageous terms for the City which the Parks Department
can negotiate.
