RESOLUTION NO. 3038
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON STATE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FUNDING OF THE HOUSER WAY
RELOCATION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton and the Washington State Department
of Transportation had previously entered into CAG-92-01 involving
funding for the work on Houser Way Relocation; and
WHEREAS, the parties have previously supplemented this
agreement one time; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to supplement the agreement a second
time as additional funding is required for the Phase III design of
the project; and
WHEREAS, the agreement sets forth the funding for the work
through Supplement No. 2; and
WHEREAS, the federal government is paying $1, 344, 000 . 00 of the
$1, 680, 000 . 00 of this project through Phase III design;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign Supplement No. 2 to CAG-92-01 dealing with funding for
design of the Houser Way Relocation Project.
