RESOLUTION NO. 307.6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON .
STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FUNDING FOR
ENGINEERING AND RECONSTRUCTION OF NORTH 8TH STREET.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has determined that North 8th
Street between Garden Avenue North and Houser Way North has
deteriorated to the point that it may not be properly overlaid; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the roadway section must
be reconstructed; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Transportation has
federal funds available to it to assist the City in that effort;
and

anticipates -paying the -sum of $27 ; 000 .00 or 86 .5% of the project
cost; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest's of the citizens of the City of
Renton to enter into this agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and dity Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the
Washington State Department of Transportation for funding of the
RESOLUTION NO. 3076
reconstruction of North 8th Street between Garden Avenue North and
Houser Way North.
