RESOLUTION NO. 3086
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON
STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FUNDING OF THE
HOUSER WAY RELOCATION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton and the Washington State
Department of Transportation have previously entered into CAG-92-
082 involving funding for the work on Houser Way Relocation; and
WHEREAS, the parties have previously supplemented this
agreement two times; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to supplement the agreement a third
time as additional funding is required for the right-of-way phase
of the project; and
WHEREAS, the agreement sets forth the funding, for the work
through Supplement. No. 3; and
WHEREAS, the federal government is paying $1, 648, 000 of the
$2 , 060, 000 of this project through right-of-way phase;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign Supplement No. 3 to CAG-92-082 and subsequent stages dealing
with funding for the Houser Way Relocation Project.
SECTION III. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to accept said grant awards and sign all documents as required
therefore.
