RESOLUTION NO. 2948
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON
STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE INSTALLATION
OF A STORM SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Transportation is
planning to construct certain improvements to the S-Curves on I-
405; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton desires to have certain work
performed which would be best completed in conjunction with the
work to be accomplished by the Washington State Department of
Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the parties have. negotiated a contract for the state
to perform that work for the City .of. Renton..
':`NOW; `THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY' OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO- RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the
Washington State Department of Transportation for the installation
of a storm system as described in the Washington State Department
of Transportation SR-405 Change Order No. 33 .
