RESOLUTION NO. 2951
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING
A COMMUTE TRIP REDUCTION PLAN, INCLUDING POLICIES FOR
MAJOR EMPLOYERS IN RENTON, TO SATISFY THE CTR ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has adopted or will adopt
contemporaneously with this resolution a commute trip reduction
ordinance; and
WHEREAS, a Commute Trip Reduction Plan has been proposed to
provide policies to major employers located in Renton to meet the
commute trip reduction ordinance; and
WHEREAS, that plan provides a valuable tool to the major
employers -in, the . Renton area and further satisfies, alone, or in
conjunction with .the ordinance, certain requirements of state law.
:NOW, THEREFORE, -THE CITY :COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
,::;'WASHINGTON,.-. DO_ =RESOLVE AS .F.OLLOWS
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The City Council of the City of Renton hereby
adopts as a city document the City of Renton Commute Trip Reduction
Plan.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 15th day of February, 1993 .
