RESOLUTION NO. 2981
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT ENTITLED "PUBLIC WORKS
TRUST FUND CONSTRUCTION LOAN AGREEMENT" FOR INSTALLATION
OF THE EAST RENTON SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has declared a moratorium on
future connections within the Heather Downs, Maplewood, and South
Highlands Subbasins; and
WHEREAS the City of Renton intends to install the East Renton
Sanitary Sewer Interceptor to resolve the moratorium; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Trust Fund has agreed to make a
construction loan to the City of Renton; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document that loan by means of an
agreement entitled "Public Works Trust Fund Construction Loan
Agreement" ; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the citizens of the City of
Renton to enter into said loan agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign the agreement entitled "Public Works Trust Fund
Construction Loan Agreement Number PW-5-93-280-041 . "
