RESOLUTION NO. 3001
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON
STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT ELEMENTS OF THE CEDAR RIVER
TRAIL EXTENSION PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton is developing the Cedar River
Trail Extension Project; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Transportation has
available certain funding for the construction of eligible
transportation enhancement elements of that project; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions under which that funding
will be made available to the City must be memorialized through an
interlocal cooperative agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the
Washington State Department of Transportation for funding of the
construction of certain elements of the Cedar River Trail
Extension.
