RESOLUTION NO. 2876
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE SEATTLE-KING
COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH REGARDING HAZARDOUS
WASTE PLAN IMPLEMENTATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton is a participant in the Local
Hazardous Waste Management Plan fpr Seattle-King County (Plan) ; and
WHEREAS, the 1991 Plan budget allows for reimbursement to
suburban cities that implement a hazardous waste program for that
city; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has applied for such
reimbursement; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been proposed to document such
reimbursement .
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign an Agreement Between the Seattle-King County Department of
Public Health and the City of Renton for reimbursement of funds for
implementing hazardous waste programs in the City of Renton in
accordance with the Local Hazardous Waste Management Plan for
Seattle-King County.
