CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2904
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND . CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT ENTITLED "PUBLIC WORKS
TRUST FUND CONSTRUCTION LOAN AGREEMENT" FOR INSTALLATION
OF THE SIERRA HEIGHTS SANITARY SEWER.
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Health has
declared a portion of the Sierra Heights area a severe health
hazard; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton intends to install a sanitary
sewer line to the Sierra Heights area; and
WHEREAS, the Public . Works -Trust Fund has agreed to make a
constr-:ucton :loan to the City of. Renton; and
jWHEREAS, it is necessary to document that loan by means of an
.,agre;ement .:.entitled "Public Works Trust Fund Construction Loan
Agreement" ; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the citizens of the City of
Renton to enter into said loan agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign the agreement entitled "Public Works Trust Fund Emergency
Loan Agreement Number PW-5-92-280-033 . "
