RESOLUTION NO. 2909
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF RENTON AND KING
COUNTY FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF
SOUTH 192ND/200TH STREET.
WHEREAS, King County and the City of Renton agree that a South
192nd/200th Street corridor would provide a critical link in the
regional transportation system for the Soos Creek and Green River
Valley areas; and
WHEREAS, that corridor would serve residents of both the city
and county; and
WHEREAS, the city has applied for and received TIB funding for
the feasibility study from State Route 167 to State Route 515; and
WHEREAS, King County wishes to participate in that study.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an interagency agreement for the feasibility study
for a South 192nd/200th Street corridor.
