RESOLUTION NO. 2929
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO THE
GREEN RIVER VALLEY SIGNAL COORDINATION PROJECT STUDY.
WHEREAS, King County, the Washington State Department of
Transportation and the cities of Tukwila, Kent and Renton have
joined together for the purpose of coordinating traffic signals in
the Green River Valley; and
WHEREAS, those governmental agencies are anticipating
undertaking a study on the Signal Coordination Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to enter into an interlocal agreement
to establish the organization and objectives of the study and the
individual participants ' responsibilities and contributions to said
study.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Agreement for a Signal Coordination
Project Study for the Green River Valley.
