RESOLUTION NO. 2844 _
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR WATERFOWL TRANSLOCATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has found that it has an excess
population of certain waterfowl, especially Canada geese; and
WHEREAS, such excess in waterfowl can produce negative impacts
on water quality, resource damage, and safety from disease for park
visitors; and
WHEREAS the Cit of Renton has the opportunity to join with

other governmental agencies in a waterfowl. translocation project.
NOW
THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign an Interlocal Agreement for Waterfowl Translocation.
