RESOLUTION NO. 2854
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE FEDERAL
AND STATE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE CONTRACTS .
WHEREAS, the City of Renton, Washington, has heretofore made
application to the State and Federal Emergency Management
authorities for grant of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funds
under Section 404 of P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T.
Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Act of 1988 for certain
projects relating to assistance following declared flooding
disasters; and
WHEREAS, the City must sin Grant Agreements

providing for administering the expenditure of said grant funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects.
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Renton,
Washington, are hereby authorized and directed to execute and
deliver unto appropriate governmental agencies any and all
documents relating to the request for and expenditure of Hazard
Mitigation Grant Program funds under Section 404 of P.L. 93-288 as
amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Act
of 1988 .

SECTION III. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to certify
this Resolution in sufficient copies and furnish same to the
appropriate governmental agencies.
