RESOLUTION NO. 2864
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERLOCAL
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR JAIL HEALTH SERVICES WITH THE
SEATTLE-KING COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH.
WHEREAS, it is the legal responsibility of the City of Renton
to provide health services to the inmates of the Renton City Jail;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton desires to engage the Seattle-King
County Department of Public Health to provide certain health
services in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached by the parties to
establish exact costs necessary to provide such health services .
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an
Interlocal Agreement with the Seattle-King County Department of
Public Health to provide jail health services to the City of Renton
for the period January 1, 1991 through December 31 , 1991 .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 9th day of September ,
1991 .
