�— RESOLUTION NO. 2869
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE WASHINGTON
STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION CONCERNING RELOCATION
OF FIRE HYDRANTS.
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Transportation is
presently engaged in reconstructing the SR-405 S-Curves; and
WHEREAS, as part of that work it is necessary to remove and/or
relocate or construct several fire hydrants along SR 405; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Renton to perform
certain items of this work; and
WHEREAS, the state is obligated to reimburse the city
for the
cost of this labor.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I . The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with the State of Washington
Department of Transportation providing for fire hydrant relocation
as part of the SR-405 S-Curves relocation contract .
