RESOLUTION NO. 2873
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT ENTITLED "PUBLIC WORKS
TRUST FUND EMERGENCY LOAN AGREEMENT" FOR EMERGENCY WORK
ON N.W. 7TH STREET SEWER REPAIR.
WHEREAS, a slide in the area of N.W. 7th Street destroyed a
portion of city sewer; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously declared an emergency
for repair of that sewer; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Trust Fund has agreed to make an
emergency loan to the City of Renton; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to document that loan by means of an
agreement entitled "Public Works Trust Fund Emergency Loan
Agreement" ; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interests of the citizens of the City of
Renton to enter into said loan agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sign the agreement entitled "Public Works Trust Fund Emergency
Loan Agreement Number PW-5-91-280-ELP-084 . "
