RESOLUTION NO. 2874
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF
STEILACOOM FOR THE PURCHASE OF SURPLUSED TELEMETRY
EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Steilacoom recently changed their
telemetry equipment and plans to surplus their older equipment; and
WHEREAS, the telemetry equipment is identical to the City of
Renton' s telemetry equipment and would be useful as spare and
replacement equipment; and
WHEREAS, the telemetry equipment has been inspected by the
City of Renton and found to be in good condition; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has been able to negotiate an
advantageous purchase price for this equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the City of
Steilacoom for the purchase of surplused telemetry equipment.
