RESOLUTION NO. 2758
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH
SECURITY PACIFIC NATIONAL BANK FOR A NEW TELEPHONE SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, it is desirable and important to the business success
of the City of Renton, Washington, to lease personal property
consisting of one ( 1) new telephone system; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton, Washington, desires from time to
time to lease said personal property from Security Pacific National
Bank,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The above recitals are hereby found to be true and
correct.
SECTION II: The City of Renton, Washington, from time to time
leases from Security Pacific National Bank personal property as
described above, and that the authorized officials named below are
hereby authorized in the name and on behalf of the City of Renton,
Washington, from time to time to enter into agreements with Security
Pacific National Bank for the leasing of said personal property upon
such terms as may seem advisable to such officers, to execute
agreements, leases, applications for leases, and other documents in
connection therewith or incidental thereto, any instruments executed
hereunder to be in such form and with such terms and conditions as
may be agreed upon between them and said bank. Any one of such
officers is also authorized to accept or direct delivery from said

bank of any such property leased hereunder. The authority given

hereunder should be deemed retroactive and any and all acts
authorized hereunder performed prior to the passage of this
resolution are hereby ratified and affirmed.
SECTION III: The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Renton,
Washington are hereby authorized and directed to execute a lease
agreement with Security Pacific National Bank for a new telephone
system.
