RESOLUTION NO. 2722
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
DESIGNATING THE DEMAND DEPOSIT ACCOUNT DEPOSITORY
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT THEREOF.
WHEREAS the City of Renton heretofore called for bid
proposals for the furnishing of demand deposit account and
other commercial banking services required by the City of
Renton, all in accordance with the Specifications, and
WHEREAS pursuant to said call, bid ' proposals were
received and opened on or about February 27, 1987, and
WHEREAS the proposal submitted by Old National Bank was
thereafter on March 16, 1987, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Renton as the lowest and most beneficial offer to
the City,
WHEREAS, the City of Renton cancelled the agreement with
Old National Bank effective as of June 30, 1988,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The City hereby ereb
y d esignates Rainier Bank (the
second low bidder) to be the demand deposit account depository
for the City of Renton for a period of three (3) years, or as
otherwise agreed, commencing as of July 1, 1988 .
SECTION II: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an Agreement between the
City of Renton and Rainier Bank.
