RESOLUTION NO. 2739
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RENTON TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
FOR A WASTE REDUCTION/RECYCLING MATCHING GRANT.
WHEREAS, King County has offered the City of Renton,
Washington, a grant to study waste reduction/recycling; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton wishes to accept that grant under
the terms and conditions of that grant; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of said grant would be of benefit to
the citizens of the City of Renton,
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : The above recitals are hereby found to be true
and correct in all respects .
SECTION II : The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Renton,
Washington, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with
King County for a matching grant for planning, development, and
subsequent implementation of waste reduction/recycling programs and
activities .
