HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2669 CITY OF RENTON WASHINGTON i RESOLUTION NO. 2669 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, EXTENDING THE MORATORIUM ON GRANTING OF PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT APPROVALS WHEREAS by Resolution No. 2649, the City Council of the City of Renton has previously declared an extended moratorium for further planned unit development approvals for applications received after December 16, 1985; and WHEREAS said moratorium expired on December 31 , 1986; and WHEREAS the City Council is still engaged in a study of the planned unit development concept to determine whether the benefits thereof are sufficient to outweigh the concerns which have been expressed regarding the planning unit development concept; and WHEREAS the City Council desires to extend the moratorium for an additional two-month period, or until a new planned unit development ordinance has been adopted, whichever occurs first, NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects. SECTION II: Until February 28, 1987, or until a new planned unit development ordinance has been adopted, whichever occurs first, there shall be a moratorium for further planned unit development approvals for applications received after December 16, 1985.
