RESOLUTION NO. 2691
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION WITH THE STATE
DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE
WHEREAS the City of Renton maintains certain information
within its taxing department which might be of use to the State
Department of Revenue, and
WHEREAS the State Department of Revenue maintains similar
information that might be of use to the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS RCW 82 . 32. 330 authorizes exchange of information,
and
WHEREAS such exchange of information would be beneficially
advantageous to the City and the State, NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The above-captioned facts are true and correct.
SECTION II: The Finance Department of the City of Renton is
authorized to exchange information maintained as part of its
taxing responsibilities with the State Department of Revenue upon

the condition that the State Department of Revenue grant
substantially similar privileges to the Finance Department of the
City of Renton.
