HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 2639 ^l CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 2639 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON SEGREGATING ASSESSMENTS RE LID #312 WHEREAS the City of Renton has been requested to segregate certain assessments for Local Improvement District No. 312 as it relates to Parcel 3 thereof; and WHEREAS the original assessment roll for LID #312 was approved November 3 , 1980 ; and WHEREAS Parce13is legally described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein; and WHEREAS the amount of .the original assessment for Parcel 3 was $60, 250 . 25, which assessment has now been paid down to the sum of $30 ,125 . 10 ; and WHEREAS Parcel 3 has been separated into two parcels, Parcel 3A and 3B; and WHEREAS Parcels 3A and 3B are legally described on Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth; and WHEREAS this segretation will not jeopardize the security of the lien for such assessments or reduce the security for any outstanding Local Improvement District obligations payable from such assessment; NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The Finance Director of the City of Renton is ordered to segregate the original assessment on Parcel 3 of LID #312 between Parcels 3A and 3B as legally described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto with the tracts bearing the following assessments: ,d RESOLUTION NO. 2639 Parcel 3A - $ 10, 992 .65 Parcel 3B - $ 19 , 132 . 45 SECTION II: The total of these segregated assessments equal the total unpaid assessment before segregation and if that should not be, then each assessment will be increased proportionately until the sum of the two will total the unpaid assessment before segretation. SECTION III: As part of the segregation, the Finance Director of the City of Renton will collect a fee of $10 .00 for each tract for which segregation was made for a total of $20 .00 . SECTION IV: The City of Renton chooses to charge its reasonable engineering and clerical costs for this segregation in the amount of $75 .00 . N of and parallel with W line of S 180th St. less State Highway. Exhibit "B" Proposed Parcel "3A": Amount of remaining assessment: $10,992.65 New Legal Description: Lot 1 of Renton Short Plat No. 346-79 recorded under Auditors File No. 7907169001 Records of King County Washington being a portion of that property more particu- larly described as follows: Lot 2 and the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 36, Township 23 N,Range 4 E, WM, lying Easterly of West Valley Rd. and Westerly of the Puget Sound Electric Railways former R/W and lying Northerly on a line which is 756 feet N of, as measured at right angles thereof, and parallel to, the N line of SW 43rd St. Said road being 60.0 ft. in width. Except that portion thereof conveyed to the State of Washington for Highway purposes by deed recorded under Auditor's File No. 6417569. Proposed Parcel "36": Amount of remaining assessment: $19,132.45 New Legal Description: Lot 2 of Renton Short Plat No. 346-79 recorded under Auditor's File No. 7907169001 Records of King County Washington being a portion of that property more particu- larly described as follows: Lot 2 and the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 36, Township 23 N, Range 4 East, WM lying Easterly of West Valley Rd. and Westerly of the Puget Sound Electric Railways former R/W and lying Northerly on a line which is 756 feet north of, as measured at right angles thereof, and parallel to, the N line of SW 43rd St. Said road being 60.0 ft. in width. Except that portion thereof conveyed to the State of Washington for Highway purposes by deed recorded under Auditor's File No. 6417569.
